A6 battery dead again – is this normal or should I look for a drain?

Honestly I’m getting a bit frustrated with my 2019 A6. I’ve had to replace the battery twice in the last three years and I’m starting to think there’s something more going on than just bad luck with batteries. The first time it died about 18 months after I bought the car, and now the replacement battery is showing signs of weakness already with the start-stop system not working and the car cranking slow in the mornings. I drive it pretty regularly, at least 40-50 km a day, so it’s not like the car sits for weeks at a time. I’ve read that Audis with all their electronics can have parasitic drains that kill batteries prematurely, and I’m wondering if I should get that checked out instead of just throwing another battery at the problem. I took it to a general garage and they tested the charging system and said everything looks fine, but I’m not sure I trust their diagnosis because they didn’t seem to know much about Audis specifically. I’m based in Abu Dhabi and I’ve heard there are some good European car specialists around the MBZ area. I’m thinking I should take it to a Leading Audi battery workshop in MBZ City that actually understands these cars and can properly diagnose whether there’s a drain issue or if I’ve just been unlucky with batteries. Has anyone here dealt with recurring battery issues on their Audi and found a specific cause? I’d really appreciate some advice because I don’t want to keep spending money on batteries every year and a half. Also, does the battery need to be coded or registered on the A6, because I’ve heard mixed things about that and I’m wondering if the previous shop just didn’t do it properly.
